Educated Psychic: Nostadamus, Prophet and Healer

16th Century Nostradamus was a great seer or psychic, prophet of future events, and physician-healer. Because of TV specials, and popular books about precognition, most people have heard of Nostradamus, a French physician, and his apparently accurate forecasting. Discussions of his prowess as a healer is found more in books. Regarding his prophetic writings, he had to disguise his meanings, the predictions of things to come, because of the prevailing political powers of the time. He wrote his PROPHECIES in 4 line poems called quatrains that were puzzles to be unscrambled. Researchers to this day work at deciphering the opague, complex meanings of Nostradamus’ prophetic poems. But when he describes a man, a negative leader, named “Histler”, we are quite certain that he had Adolph Hitler in mind. How many centuries before the Axis came to power!

As a physician, Nostradamus became known for healing great numbers of plague victims. Many of us believe that his treatments, whatever they were, must have gone far beyond the medicine of the day. Like spiritual healers before and after him, it is possible that quite apart from material science, Nostradamus enacted or performed some type of energy transfer that may cause a healing effect. Exactly how such healing works, we can only conjecture as many writers on the subject have. Books such as George Meek’s work, HEALERS AND THE HEALING PROCESS.

Healers, healing agents, vehicles for Spirit, work in different ways. But one thing is for certain, or so I believe, the human healer is NOT the source of the healing energies s’he channels. “Of myself I can do nothing,” Jesus, the healer of the Christian Bible, is reported to have said. “The Father” or God “doeth the work through me.” The key phrase is “through me”. A healer is a willing channel for higher spiritual forces to work through to the end of healing or helping those who suffer.
